Chris is a Partner with 615 Consulting, bringing more than 25 years of healthcare experience to the organization.  Prior to creating 615 Consulting, Chris was the VP of Networks & Business Development with Oncolign, a start-up organization designed to partner with community-based oncology practices and operationalize risk-based arrangements for cancer care.  He spent 3 years as VP of Networks for naviHealth, a post-acute care benefit management company ultimately acquired by Cardinal Health.  Preceding naviHealth, Chris was the VP of Operations with Cigna HealthSpring.  Over the span of 7 years, he built, developed and subsequently managed multiple de novo IPAs in Middle Tennessee which represented more than 225 PCPs and 2,500 specialists across the region, each IPA holding a fully capitated risk-bearing contract and various pay-for-quality incentive programs.  Prior to Cigna-HealthSpring, Chris spent 3 years in several operational and strategic roles with Emdeon, one of the nation’s largest claims clearinghouse organizations. 

 

In addition, Chris helped develop and operationalize multiple start-up companies in the areas of healthcare IT, consulting and traditional provider based services.  He launched Silicon Medical in the late 1990s, an online vertical marketplace, facilitating medical supply and pharmaceutical purchasing activities for healthcare entities in Brazil.  Proceeding these entrepreneurial ventures, he was a member of SunTrust Equitable Securities’ health care investment banking group, engaging in private equity fundraising and M&A opportunities. 

 

Chris began his career in 1992 with PhyCor, the nation’s first physician practice management company, serving in a variety of operational, business development, managerial, and financial roles.  Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Languages from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Operations and Accounting from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

Dick Wright is a Partner with 615 Consulting, bringing more than 40 years of health care management experience in a wide variety of organizations.  He has operated health maintenance organizations, a leading physician practice management company, hospitals (both domestic and international), insurance companies, a health care technology firm, a management consulting firm and a company delivering health services in the field of correctional medicine.

Mr. Wright served as Senior Advisor with the Advisory Board and subsequently Optum, following its acquisition of the Advisory Board in 2017.  Dick led strategic planning initiatives for health system-owned physician practices, directed employed physician enterprise assessments for major health systems and advised senior health system management in the merger and acquisition of community based physician practices.  Prior to his tenure with the Advisory Board, Mr. Wright finished a 12-year association with America Service Group (“ASG”), culminating in the role of non-Executive Chairman and overseeing the merger with Correctional Medical Services.  Until March 2005, Mr. Wright served as part of the ASG management team as the Vice Chairman and President and CEO of Prison Health Services. Mr. Wright also served as President and CEO of Covation LLC, a provider of software integration and data management services for health care payers, until it was acquired by Perot Systems.

He also co-founded PhyCor Inc., where he served as Director and Executive Vice President of Operations for more than 10 years. PhyCor, a pioneering physician practice management firm, grew to 55 multispecialty clinics with 3,800 physicians in 28 states with $1.2 billion in revenue, paving the way for many of today's health system and other health care firms working with organized physician practices. Mr. Wright has also held senior management roles with HCA International and its group health venture, EquiCor-Equitable HCA Corporation, while living and working in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, England, Brazil and Nashville, Tennessee.

Mr. Wright holds a Master of Health Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta and a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
